How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

What I personally find the hardest to draw is feet and hands. I found that with a lot of practice and a lot of frustrating mistakes my feet and hands actually look at the very least almost the way i want them to be.
Now my favorite Style of drawing is Anime or sometimes semi-realism, and i find that by doing studies of the more traditional style realism actually helps improve my anime pictures greatly. For instance i would practice drawing my hands and feet in different positions holding different things and from different angles. I also find it extremely helpful while i'm drawing and i'm having a particularly hard time drawing a hand or a foot in a certain position i will stop for a

Reflections on 2012 (NOW WITH EDITS!)

So this is my second to last entry of this year, barring some sudden developments (the last one will be answering ~TifaIA's questions regarding my uses of lighting, scouting, etc., as well as some other general advice. Side note: if you want me to answer questions about my thoughts on topics, leave a comment or send me a message.)

So, wow. 2012. This year started out crazily, and kind of dropped off in terms of production. Mainly due to the fact that I missed two cons I planned on attending (New York Comic Con and AnimeUSA). I met and worked with so many people. I also got closer to a lot of people. It's amazing what my hobbies have given me in terms of skills, friends, and networking. As far as progression with my photography, I think I've made huge strides, but I definitely had some setbacks (Otakon being my most notable example, unfortunately). My studio style work has flourished, thanks in large part to two photographers who have taken me under their wings. (I can also throw a shout out to ~JeanneKilljoy for being the model for a lot of that.) Overall, I'm pumped about this year's work, and I cannot wait for next year!

Next convention for me will be Katsucon 2013!
