How do you even imagine  that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam  deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me. :la:

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

I'm Baaaaaaaaaack!

This is just a short little journal. Katsucon was a blast, even if the con itself was kind of a cluster youknowwhat. I got to meet so many new people, and see and hang out with so many of my friends. It was seriously awesome. For the first time in a really long time, I had post con depression because I did not want to leave.

Official tally for photos taken at Katsucon is 2,644 photos taken across 46 photoshoots! (To be fair, not every shoot was super long.)

Now then, I hope everyone had as much fun as I did! I'm back to photo editing!!! I'll post a longer con report once I finish with the photos.

Man, Katsu was really a "photoshootcon". Shoots everywhere~ @_@ At one point, there were so many shoots going on at the same time all around me that I had to do my shoot immediately at the meetup point, as there was nowhere else available to go to! I just blasted my flashes and reduced the ambient exposure on my photos to get *only* my subjects lit and leave everything else dark. I stood on a bench and shot downwards to minimize background clutter. [link] You gotta do what you gotta do, when there's nothing else you could do! I got good results this way, but I wish there were slightly less people around, even if I had to stay at the same spot.

I haven't had post-con depression for a long time...until Katsu. It's nice to hear I'm not the only one, haha.
And I'm glad to see an entry about someone having a positive time in spite of all the setbacks, instead of just complaining and raging about everything...like I've been seeing non-stop these past two days. /shakes head
